NEWS FLASH
Well brilliant people of holbrook, the votes were cast, the democratic process looked like it was going on as it should and i was willing to just hope for the best. by nature i am a very optimistic and trusting person so on with life i thought. WRONG!!!!!! i have just learned that the people ( the board of selectmen) who were so careful to tell all the sheep who listened to them and ( got screwed in the process) that the info we were giving you in good faith about the lease for the trash transfer station was old and inaccurate lied to you !that's right; remember when they said the figures being quoted were old and that they would show you much better new and improved rates etc in the "current" lease??? it seems that the newest lease IS the one we were quoting from !!! i have seen the number 1.5Million dollars over and over. are they kidding?? at that rate we would be getting $5 per ton. where is the outrage??? who REALLY cares about the school kids and the needs of the town as a whole?? HUH???? wake the hell up! you people deserve the screwing you;re gonna get ! i am serious. i have never been so disgusted in my life. when wrong things happen in life it is sad and too bad and sympathetic onlookers say if only this and if only that. well this time there can be none of that. you were given that information you choose not to hear it. ok fine, but now the ball is in your court. you have the players in place that will be negotiating this contract. get out of your own ways and begin to understand what you are about to swallow !!!!!!!!!!! by the way i';m not going to bother going back over the figures that i gave right here in this blog about the possibilties for rates. you do it yourselves. before you even go look them up again take out a calculator that can go into higher figures than the one Johnny uses at school. if you aren't on the phone to your elected officials at that point you deserve and will get what's coming to you. you guessed it NOTHING!

I wish everyone with the last name of "Wright" would just friggin' give up! It's over!!! 2000 to 600! What we get from the transfer station is better than we're getting now!!! Go attack the crap schools we have. Spend your energy on something constructive!!!
beautiful logic. sounds just like what mr trash said. practicaly verbatum. i guess i really do not understand why it is ok to accept 1.5 million when you could and should be getting $6 million per year. is it that you dont'think you deserve it? or can you not picture it? please enlighten me. as for the vote if it was conducted using factual info it would be fine with me. unless you didn't understand what i said, we all were duped. if you dont' get that; i will repeat, you will get what you deserve.

Hey anonymous! Let's do nothing and keep a toxic waste dump! Great idea! And let's get even more screwed! Saving $411,000 in existing budget money and getting over $300,000 more IS constructive! The transfer station was never going to SAVE Holbrook, it's putting us in the right direction. And don't talk to me about my intellect. I capitalize my sentences and space my words. Maybe because I didn't go to Holbrook schools. Also, it's pinstriper, not stripper! Maybe if we had more money coming in to the town, you could learn to read!

The reason I don't use my real name is for fear you would want to use it against me. You went to Town Hall to pull voing records. Records that would give you my home address. You proved my cautions were warrented.
I have watched the meetings, the agenda was at Town Hall, nowhere before or after has the trash issue been there. The Selectmen must have negotiated it for themselves. If you have proof show it. You say you saw it. If you are correct why don't you put it here. Until you do I believe you are a liar.
The Frank Rizzo issues seems to be a thorn in your claw. Frank Rizzo is the name of a character in a movie. PS if you knew a real Frank Rizzo why did you go to town hall? In fact what does it matter if Frank Rizzo voted at all? Why did you go check me out? What were you going to do if my real name was Frank Rizzo.
Sue, you have no proof of what you say. You put things in your blog with out ever naming anyone who tells you anything. I read in the Sun you got caught posting to yourself. You act like you are better thanthe rest of us. You forget some of us have lived here longer than you and know you better than you think.
I am sure you will not post this but damn I feel good after holding this back for 22 years. Sell your house or let the bank take it, it is time for you to move on.
mr x that is your new name on this blog. i refuse to attach a nice man's name to a person like you. you say you have lived here longer than me which would be 1955, yet you have held some sort of grudge against me since 1986. why 1986 i wonder. it's funny each thing you say confirms who i think you are. it doesn't matter that much really except that you feel that it's ok to throw things at me from the shadows. the reason i went to check to see if you voted was you said you did on the override. you forget that vote has as much validity as the trash vote. you were in the minority on the override so?? votes win and they lose. we went out and asked the people most affected by the trash station and they were very against it. in a democracy you have a right and i beleive a duty to abide by the will of the majority. i said that very clearly in the news flash post. what i do object to very strongly is that the selectmen said quite plainly that the information we were using while the discusion was going on was old and inaccurate. they admitted that this week( possibly not on camera) that the most current lease IS the one we were working off. to me it is a shame that they said we were not truthful or accurate when we were. therefore people voted on incorrect or incomplete facts. also since you don't believe me ask the selectmen. that is the easiest way to resolve this. i know what i know but i can't convince you. obviously anything i say is heard thru some sort of vile veil that prevents you from seeing clearly. please take a few minutes and call one of them. ask them what is the date of the most recent lease they are working from. that will settle this part of the question. i'm sure anyone reading this will be waiting for the answer. thank you in advance.

Show us what you got, since 86 you have ranted and raved quoted people with out using a name. Now you have a blog and people are reading this thinking you are speaking the truth. Show us what you got.

mr x what is it you are looking for exactly? the lease between the board and the trash company? i have a copy of that. other people do too. i have no idea how i could get it into this blog. if you do let me know what the method is and i will try. as far as this 22 year thing goes, i bet you do feel better now that you've let it out. too bad you've been such a coward for so long. you seem aggavated that i don't name names on everything i say, well you won't use your name maybe the people who are willing to tell me things don't want their names used either. i have no problem admitting that i am wrong about somethng when i am. if you or anyone else can point out an error i have always been willing and able to change or adjust. again i will say that is exactly why i am angry about the board.they said our info was old or wrong and it turns out they lied. have you called them and asked yet?? why am i held to a standard you won't hold them to? they are the ones you should be able to get answers from aren't they? where are they on this? i know they are reading this. i want an answer don't you?
Go ask some one how to put the lease here. I am sure the library could help you before they close.
I know for a fact that the Board has not discussed a lease, it has nothing to do with what they say. I saw the agendas, I watched the meetings on tv and the minutes are online. No lease agreement.
So if you have the smoking gun put it here.
mr x you are right. they have not discussed the lease at the meetings. i have not talked about what they said at the meetings lately. if you could please listen logicly i will try to explain my position again, for the last time. if you can't understand it or won't i can't make you. remember back to the discusions held before the election they absolutely did say we were working with old info. like a trusting fool i believed them as did many others i'm sure. again i ask you to call one of them yourself and ask what is the date of the most recent lease agreement. i can not do that because you would refuse to believe me. get it right from the source then you will know. when you do please pass it along for all of us to read . until you do this i won't print another thing you write. it is a waste of my time and yours. we are at an impasse.

SUE, I CHECK YOUR SITE EVERY NO AND THEN. I AM CONFUSED ABOUT THE DISCORD BETWEEN YOU AND RIZZO/X. DO YOU HAVE A COPY OF THE LEASE. HOW RECENT IS IT, IS IT SIGNED, CAN YOU PLEASE POST IT HERE SO WE CAN SEE IT.
OBVIOUSLY X HAS A PERSONAL ISSUE WITH YOU BUT I TOO WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE LEASE. THAT COULD BE GROUNDS TO OVERTURN THE VOTE IF THEY LIED TO US. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SAVE US ALL FROM A HUGE MISTAKE.
dear sox fan thank you so much for asking. yes i do have a copy of the lease. i would be happy to share it with you or anyone else who wants to see it. unlike some i believe public documents should be just that. on the other hand having served on the board i never showed it to anyone due to respect for their efforts. since they've claimed it is old and not relevant anymore i 'spose it's ok to let you see it. contrary to mr x's thought i am not scary at all. i will bring it to you or you can come here and you can take it home with you. it is many pages long. too long to put online i think. you don't have to worry about losing it as there are at least 2 copies i can put my hands on besides mine. thanks again and please take me up on this.
Sue: now that the selecman will go forwardes with a lease for the transferr ststion, Mr yunits at a meeting said he wants the voters to change the zoneing buylaw to get rid of site plan review by the planning board,just what the transfer station needs, the ability to do what thy want. This bylaw gives the people a chance to voice their5 opinion at a hearing. Shame on him .
