Candidates are invited to use this space
I am opening up this space for any candidate who wishes to take advantage of it. Although I haven't been using it myself for a while, it can be a way to get your message out at no cost to you or the people who you want to vote for you. As long as it is used responsibly i will take off all restrictions and blocks to posts. Running debates are welcomed as long as they are done with mutual respect. Others can write in to support or offer opinions too.

you're right. isn't it sad? we have an election coming up in a few days and 4 candidates for the board of selectmen. paul stigas wrote in to the Sun a week or so ago but no one else has bothered. i'm not exactly on top of things here either as i just saw your post now. still, i think if someone is asking for your vote the very least they owe you is an explanation of what they hope to accomplish if elected. do you think people don't care or are they too busy trying to survive, or is there another reason for this apathy? what do you think? i am really curious.
