Let's Make Progress
Let's make progress if we can. i read the comments about the parent group etc, i did go to a couple meetings to try and help with some ideas as i've said here. i guess i didn't realize that i was trying something that wouldn't happen. maybe that is true and maybe it isn't. i don't believe all the people involved are so closed minded. everyone is in such a rush nowadays getting the kids to do the homework, make supper, show up at meetings etc. then i showed them something new. i assumed that was why they didn't seem to get it. they never said no exactly. i just haven't gotten someone to commit. if the person who wrote in thinks that it's not going to happen though regular channels then we can go around them easy enough. we don't need anyone's blessing really, just a willingness to go forward,. as a matter of fact that is what the town needs too. regular people need to step forward and make a difference in whatever area they are interested in. it's easy to weep and moan about things it's something else to roll up your sleeves and dig in. but it does feel good when you see something happen or changes are made. so ...... next time you get the chance to make a difference just do it !! you'll be glad you did.

I do not know what happened to the other blog. I went to look at it and it was gone too. I do know of a third one that will be shutting down at some point soon.
I filed a complaint about what was being posted there. To many legal documents with personal info and way to much slander going on.
I notified Freewebs and they must have agreeded.
I hope we recall her. One more year is too much.
Sick of it all
Sick of it all, the people running that blog was more than one. While I agree it was way to many legal documents, they were public documents. I disagreed with them doing it but it was their right to do it. One of the people they were attacking was me. I am the Voice of Holbrook. You did not have to read their blog if you did not like its contents. That is your right as well as complaining about something. What that blog did show you is how much public information is available about our personal business. It also showed you the lengths to what some will go to use it against you. It is no different then what Citizens for a Better Holbrook was doing. This same source, "public information" can be used against them too. It can go on forever. Like your name says, sick of it all, I too feel that way. It has to stop some place. I too know how use it and how to find out the dirt but is it really worth it? I do not think so!I cleaned my blog up to get away from that stuff and stop the crap. They keep trying to though the old stuff back in my face but I will not bite. I speak my mind and they may not like it, but they know where I stand. They also know who I am!

If freewebs took my complaint and reviewed the Holbrookneedschange site and then frooze it, was I wright about what they posted. Just because a document is public does not mean that it can be posted. On going legal matters that have not been setteled in court requires a court order for the document to be released,
Also the documents that pertained to personel files of public employees are also not fair game. AGain a judge must order their release.
They made a decision to post those things and write the personal attacks they made. I too was on their target list. That is why I only use my nickname.
I appealed to freewebs to review the matter as an independent judge. Freewebs choose to freeze the site.
It must be their lawyers ruling on it don't ya think?
Sick of it all, I get your point and I agree. I just don't like any of it. I find the people doing this have agendas all their own. As you may know, my name appears on some of those papers. Some are ongoing cases. So I do understand how you feel. You did what you feel you must. It is time that some people learn that in Holbrook we don't fight that way. It may happen in the city but it does not happen in the small towns. People will not stand for it.
Hate to tell you guys but I shut it down to move it. Does not matter who wrote what to them because it was gone before any complaints were filed. For Jake you have no idea who wrote that blog and I can tell you it was not Kathy Connlly. Furthermore I received notification from Lenore that she wanted those papers taken out because they did show too much information. Will they come back? Yes they will. There are people trying to extort money from the town and that should be revealed. They are public documents and the people of Holbrook have a right to know who is suing the town. Lenore is suing the Town. That much we know. So to anonymous you can't take the credit. But be advised everything is back up and running. Like Jake says " If you don't like it don't read it".

You are a liar. If you closed the site a completely different page would come up. Page not found. Your old address comes up with the abuse complaint page.
You can't tell the truth about anything.

Sick of it all-
There are those that will not stop at anything to expose their enemies. They do not care whom they hurt along the way. It is called collateral damage. It is simular to a car bomb in a crowded street. So go ahead and print your crap. Sooner or later you will be caught and you will suffer what is coming your way. Your embarrassment will be far greater than ours not to mention what the personal cost could be. Do not think for a moment the origin of that blog was not traced and we do not already know whom you are. Could we be giving you the rope to really hang yourself but good? Remember, as smart as one might think they are, there is always someone smarter!
