Hope you all have a nice thanksgiving. The weather should be cooperative i hear. Remember we do have a lot to be thankful for. Even though we do have our problems and peeves with situations and people we do live in the greatest country in the world. Our town may have it's problems but to be truthful we could do a lot worse. In fact we could do a lot better too. What would you ( collectively ) think about really putting our heads together and working on the issues in an all for one attitude? i am guilty of being stubborn myself so i'm not pointing fingers. i don't know maybe it wouldn't work but i am willing to try. are you??? ( collectively)
i wish we were still playing football against Hull ! i don't even know who the football team plays against. it was such a big deal back in the day remember? we had the pirate effigee (sic) .the weather was so cold at their games by the sea, does that still happen now? if it does i'm not aware of it.
one tradition is still going strong, we will be at the bowling alley parking lot selling centerpieces for the holiday table. can you believe we have been there for 30 years? i see grandchildren of the original customers each and every holiday. i am glad to be a part of many peoples family tradition. Your blog is nice but center around very few topics. I wish all the blogs would expand your issues. Town Hall and the projects are a big part of our community but, what about the schools and their funding. What about the Parent group and the Friends of Holbrook. Where have they gone. Where has their money gone. Why aren't they on the web.
What about the sports programs. I know some of these topics are a stretch for you but I hope some of them reading your blog and the comments will think about it.
